The MBTU Scholarship Tests are used across Myanmar to identify academically able students for the award of a scholarship.
Applicants are required to demonstrate a range of skills such as the ability to interpret, infer, deduce and think critically. The tests are not curriculum based and do not test the ability to retrieve learned knowledge, nor are they diagnostic.

The unit has been developed to provide candidates with an understanding of the five processes group of project management, and knowledge areas of project management. The candidates will be able to manage and control the project management plan, communicate with members and stakeholders and also manage balance with cost, quality and time resources on project.
This unit has been developed to provide candidates with an understanding of the important security risks and threats in an organisation. Candidates will be able to perform required procedures and processes to secure and maintain IT resources of an organisation.
The unit has been developed to give candidates an understanding of the nature of networking fields. Candidates will be able to design a Wide Area Network (WAN) to align with related elements such as Local Area Network (LAN) infrastructure, configuration of routers and switches, routing protocols and decisions of security. The candidates will also be able to apply many networking related techniques in a wide field of projects.

of the functions of computer systems. The candidates will be able to build and
design computer systems and provide routine maintenance procedures for business
This unit has been developed to provide
candidates with an understanding of the essentials of network protocols and
topology which are related to computer networking, the bandwidth requirement of
a networked system, and the benefits of using a networked system. Moreover,
students will know about routers, hubs, switches and network services which are
included in the networked system. On
completion of this unit, candidates will be able to design, configure,
implement and troubleshoot a networked system.
